1. Develop laws, rules, orders, directives and procedures for the advancement of the digital and communications sectors. 2. Formulate digital transformation strategies and operational plans, conduct assessments and evaluations, and research new digital technologies to build a digital economy and society. 3. Accelerate the application of digital technologies to make government services readily accessible to the public and modernise government processes. 4. Work with the relevant ministries to apply advanced technologies and accelerate national digital transformation. 5. Promote private-sector participation through transparent competition in telecommunications and extend communications network coverage nationwide. 6. Monitor and respond to cybersecurity breaches within Myanmar’s cyberspace, prevent cyber misuse and carry out cybersecurity awareness activities. 7. Enable access to quality telecommunications services at reasonable prices. 8. Use modern technologies to provide people across the country with quality postal services at fair and reasonable prices.
