Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Communications U Thet Win Aung yesterday inspected MPT telecommunications stations, Myanmar Post offices and staff housing in Hsipaw, Kyaukme and Nawnghkio, northern Shan State.
During the visits, he called for reliable communications, prompt restoration after faults or outages, preservation and repair of historic post-office buildings, and efforts to become staff whom the public can depend upon.
He also inspected the MPT telecommunications office in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region, on 8 May.
